Currently Listening To: Yuki Kajuira - Mezame

Currently trying to get my double major squared away...looks like it may take five years instead of four. Either way, I'm trying to set it up so that I'm working under someone's campaign during my senior year. Hopefully this summer I can start doing some busy work in the capital. Other than that - life is the same old.

I began watching Mai HiMe and I was really turned off by how it started off. Lots of comedic relief with very little action, but now after finishing the series I know why they made the beginning light hearted.

It was so that you had a larger drop when all hell broke lose.

Mai HiMe is an excellent story about relationships more than the actual plot or action. I loved it. The character development really allowed you to hate, love, or question a characters motives and it all came together at the end in a semi-satisfying way. It doesn't matter who you are; that series is something everyone should watch. Just some ridiculous characters. You can check out some songs from the series here and here. The song mezame should be enough to convince you to check this show out.

I'm really enjoying fencing this year and will hopefully pick up some swords soon when I feel like I can spend the money. I've been saving a lot, but christmas shopping and responsibilities eat away at anything you make.

So party during vaca. Keep one of your evenings open.

Watching a series that I've been telling Clark about - Mai Hime - give it a chance up to episode 8. I was really turned off by the first episode, but the story gets a lot darker and the body count rises.
